Psychiatric Care in Psychiatric Outpatient Centres - A Current Survey shows History, Development and Trend of Psychiatric Care

Abstract

Within the psychiatric ambulant treatment nurses play an important role. In opposite to inpatient care there was never any kind of personal regulation in outpatient treatment. So, the development of this profession happened in relation to other factors. By audits the range of quality as well as economical factors between different outpatient centres became perceptible for the first time. A survey, including all Bavarian outpatient centres shows, that the profession of nursery follows an internal logic.
